I. Objectives:
- Motivate and encourage students to overcome their own limitations toward the goal of developing their full potential in educational activities, instill an international spirit in education and aspire to global knowledge. (Vision, Mission)
- Encourage students to demonstrate their English competency through presentations and essay writing. (GC&IC 2)
- Help students to become lifelong learners who understand different cultures and take responsibility for global issues. (GC&IC3)
- Acknowledge students who have good morals and excel in learning and extracurricular activities at school, aligning with the school’s education philosophy of “Vietnam’s spirit, global education”. (Education philosophy)
II. Scholarship value for IPS students:
Six scholarships for winning students at all IPS campuses (Conghoa campus: two slots, Trannhatduat and Pasteur campuses: one slot, each of the remaining campuses: one slot).
Each scholarship is worth 30% of tuition fee for the 2024-2025 academic year.
III. Program Timeline:
1. Round 1: From March 6, 2024 to April 2, 2024
- Students who wish to participate in the Talent Seeking Contest can complete the Application Form via the link uploaded in the AsianSchoolIPS application from March 6 to March 12, 2024.

- In case parents want to register directly, they can submit the Application Form to the Class Teachers by March 12, 2024.
- At each campus, all registered students will participate in a 60-minute essay writing competition on April 1 & 2, 2024.
- The Steering Committee at each campus evaluates and chooses the best candidates in round 1.
- Criteria for evaluation and selection (round 1): the essay received 8 or more points (graded on a 10-point scale, with odd points equal to 0.25). Note: Choose candidates with good morals and academic results.
- Students who pass round 1 will continue round 2 at their respective campuses.
2. Round 2: April 16, 2024
- Place: All IPS campuses of the Asian International School.
- Time: April 16, 2024
- Students will give presentations on the topics that are informed one day in advance.
- Allotted presentation time: No more than 4 minutes.
Marking Criteria:
o Organization: 2 points
o Topic Knowledge: 2 points
o Audience Adaptation: 2 points
o Language Use (Verbal Effectiveness): 2 points
o Delivery (Nonverbal Effectiveness): 2 points
Scholarships are awarded to the champions of each IPS campus: Caothang, Nguyenvanhuong, and Vanthanh (one champion per campus). Specifically, Conghoa campus can select two champions to receive 2024-2025 academic year scholarships; Pasteur and Trannhatduat campuses can select one champion to receive 2024-2025 academic year scholarships.
The scholarship winners will be announced on May 3, 2024. The list of students who advance to the second round as well as the champions, is shown on each campus' information board.
Note: Once the list of the scholarship winners is available, managers must invite their parents to the school to share the good news and have them sign the 2024-2025 academic year Scholarship Regulations.
IV. Scholarship Regulations:
1. The scholarships are only valid if the students continue to study at the Asian International School throughout the 2024-2025 academic year. If students stop studying at the Asian International School at any time during the 2024-2025 academic year, their parents will be required to refund the full value of the received scholarships.
2. The scholarships will be deducted monthly from the students’ tuition fee for the school year 2024-2025 after applying discounts according to the Discount Policy and discounts for children of teachers and staff. After applying discounts and scholarships, discounts for one-time payments of 5 months or more are still applicable.
3. Fees such as food service fee, school bus fee, textbook fee, and others are not included in the scholarships.
4. The scholarships cannot be transferred or exchanged for cash in any way.
5. The scholarships do not apply to students who have already received scholarships from the Talent Seeking Contest.
