In the academic year 2013-2014, the Asian International School has launched the movement "Let's Learn!" for all students at IPS. This is a learning movement to foster and enhance English skills such as Listening, Reading and Writing for primary students as well as to help them be aware and initiate in self-studying English. " Let's Learn!" is a new and interesting movement. The response and participation it received was enthusiastic from students and the parents.

The lunar calendar includes the Mid - Autumn Festival on 15th August. In Vietnam, this is a children’s festival, also known as “moon watching festival”. To celebrate this special festival, people often hold a lion dance or dragon dance, decorate lanterns as well as do many interesting activities for children. At The Asian International School, all IPS students bustle and feel excited to celebrate the Mid- Autumn Festival with a special and impressive lion dance.

The Saigon International University (SIU) belongs to The Group of Asian International Education (GAIE), which includes The Asian International School (Primary School IPS and Middle & High School AHS), The Institute of Asian Studies (IAS) and The Saigon International University (SIU). Reflecting this atmosphere of the school opening, from September 5th to September 6th 2013, the Asian International School merrily celebrated the Opening School Ceremony for the new school year 2013-2014 at both the International Primary School IPS and the Asian High School AHS. Leaving the wonderful summer days behind, nearly 10.000 students anxiously prepared for the Opening School Day.
