In order to welcome the upcoming academic school year 2016 - 2017, the Asian International School held a training course on admission procedures for approximately 100 office staff members from five campuses on March 12th, 2016. The training course was an annual activity which opened a great opportunity for the office staff from campuses to show their consulting skills, knowledge and attitude. Moreover, it was a chance for them to share their experiences and learn from the others.
In 2016, the training course of the Asian International School has focused on some main problems regarding helping parents and their children approach much information about the school before starting to study there. The office staff has gained useful and interesting experience when they role-played in supposed situations such as consulting parents of newcomers in grade one, instructing admission procedures of accepting students from another school or answering questions to parents whose children are studying at Asian International School etc.
The training course on admission procedures is an annual activity held for the office staff from five campuses to welcome the school year 2016 - 2017.
There were numerous office staff members attending the training.
The situations were set up with very real facts.
The office staff actively shared their views and experience.
Each issue was profoundly analyzed and instructed by the managers.

Truong Thi Kieu Diem – Accountant
I really liked and prepared the accounting knowledge well before taking part in the training to share experience to other colleagues. What made strong impression on me was that we could practice real situations collected for years and combined with the managers’ useful questions. I perceive that I have to be more enthusiastic in my job. In addition, I will try my best to work hard and be creative in this professional international environment.

As soon as I entered the meeting hall, I had a keen interest in the new arrangement of the training room. After that, the situations were carried out constantly and fascinatingly. Questions, answers and ways of solving problems in each part made me think a lot. I found that newly learned knowledge was such helpful experience for my job as well as my daily life. For that mentioned reason, I was not tired and greatly inspired even though the training course ended quite late. I hope we can have more training sessions like this.

The training happened with enthusiastic and jubilant atmosphere. After finishing the training, I have a thorough grasp of the school’s wishes conveyed to the students. This is not only the training on admission procedures but also the special playground so that we can express our own ability. Furthermore, we can learn from other colleagues and realize our weaknesses; hence, I will get my work done better.

During the training course, I had a feeling of both enthusiasm and nervousness. At the end of the situations, the managers helped us widen our knowledge to have better communication skills with parents. These training courses made me more confident and active. Besides, it also made me realize that I need to learn and practice to enhance myself.

I had opportunities to join in many training courses, all of them left different thoughts in my mind. The training has helped me solve problems with scientific principles, be more confident in communication and get more useful information when I am working for the school. With newly learned knowledge from the training, I will incessantly study and get good accomplishment in my work.
