The resilient finale of “Being a teacher” contest
Being a teacher” contest is an useful and interesting playground for students at IPS primary school during the summertime . In this competition, each contestant will be challenged to play a role as a real teacher , hereby showing their creativity, confidence and activeness. This contest also aims to help students understand, love and respect their teachers.
The primary round of this contest took place from 27/6/2013 to 10/7/2013 and was organized at 6 campuses of IPS primary school to select the best candidates in each grade to join in the system final round on 30 and 31/7/2013 at Caothang Campus (177 Bis 1 Caothang Street, District 10).

All contestants participating in the final round have done an excellent job in doing their roles , bringing audience excitement and sharing interesting experience. The participation of young contestants from the first-grade was the big surprise of this contest. These “little teachers”, wearing “ao dai” costume on stage to present their lessons, have created the amusing atmosphere due to their innocence and adorability.

The entries of third-grade contestants were particularly exciting. Some of them were highly appreciated by the judges and received supports from the audience. The contestant- Le Pham Khanh Linh from class 3/3 had a quite brilliant performance as an English teacher. By introducing some fun mini-games into class and group discussions, teacher Khanh Linh was very confident in presenting her lessons by using her fluent English capability.

Second-grade representatives were pretty and cute students, including: Huynh Ngoc Anh Thu, Phan Huynh Tram Anh from class 2/2 and Ngo Hoang Phuong Anh from class 2/1. Mathematics and English classes of these “little teachers” were really joyful, active and full of laughters. It can be said that this contest has helped students tshow their talents and capability to stand tall in front of the crowd and present the lessons credibly.
“Lovely teacher” Huynh Ngoc Anh Thu - Class 2/2
Considered as the pioneers of all students in primary school, the fourth-grade and fifth-grade students have brought impressive and attractive performances to the contest. “ Teacher” Chiem Hoang Mai Vy from class 5/3 has won over the audiences by her inspiring voice and grown-up attitude. She was one of the best –performing candidates of this contest and made teachers feel so proud.

Coming between the entries from “Being a teacher” contestants was special singing and drawing performances from students of other campuses. The stage of this contest was aroused by sparkling English songs, Q&A exchange with audiences. Besides, the young painting artists have shown their creativity and skills by creating with unique paintings... These factors have contributed to setting up a delighted and attractive contest.

“Being the teacher” 2013 has ended with the wonderful
and lively atmosphere and bright smiles from all contestants. The best
contestants of this contests have been named. The winner of this contest is
Chiem Hoang Mai Vy from class 5/3, Nguyen Phu Gia Han from 4/2 and Tu Phu Hoa
from class 4/1 won their second and third prizes respectively.

“ Being a teacher ” is my favorite contest. This event is also a chance for us to show our talents. In my presentation, I had felt a bit nervous at first but then quickly regained confidence to finish my performance.
