Class teachers’ workshop school year 2012 - 2013

On August 8th in Caothang’s Conference Hall, the Asian International School organized a workshop for all class teachers of the school year 2012-2013 of Primary campuses (IPS). This is our school’s annual activity in order to improve professional skills and knowledge, teaching techniques and methodology. Moreover, this is also a chance to share experience with each others, to contribute to the teachers’ knowledge and skills, to clearly provide them with school’s regulations and to upgrade the school’s training quality.

The workshop was attended by many teachers

Participating in this workshop, the class teachers listened to their colleagues who shared their experiences of classroom management, knowledge, skills and teaching method as well as, worked together to find out solutions for difficulties and questions of teaching procedures in order to gradually approach effective and friendly teaching methods for all levels of students. With many years of teaching experience, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Duong and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Hien - Conghoa campus, shared their skills and reasonable ways to arrange their schedule to get the highest effectiveness in teaching tasks. Moreover, they also showed that listening comprehension and polite communication are important factors to build up belief for students and their parent’s and to enhance the school reputation.

With a warm and touching voice, Ms. Nguyen Thi Lan from Trannhatduat Campus made participants extremely moved when they listened to her stories and solutions for difficult situations in order that the class teachers could clearly understand roles and responsibilities of a teacher.

At this workshop, the teachers also listened to Ms. Luu Thi My Linh from Thaivanlung campus presented different methods to apply IT and designed electronic lesson plan (ELP) for primary level to approach the highest lesson’s objectives and enhance quality of teaching for students. Everybody had participated and given their ideas ebulliently to make the workshop more attracting and animating.

Last but not least, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tuyet – Vanthanh campus brought to the workshop extremely interesting games. She also presented issues which a class teacher needs to handle clearly to do their tasks effectively, such as awareness of students’ physiological psychology, forming soft skills, discipline, politeness and reason for each student. Especially, 20 things a teacher should know, how to impress parents’ students in communication, etc…which helps the class teachers to know how to control their temper, calm, patience, flexibility, braveness and confidence to find out effective solutions to get more success in their roles.

We can say that this workshop brought a lot of useful knowledge to help the teachers to approach reference resources and teaching methods to apply to their teaching time. Furthermore, it also gives a deep look into methods to combine teaching and instructing, to focus on group work and many kinds of interactive teaching, to combine theory and practice, to renew teaching method (student-centered), to prepare studying materials, knowledge and skills according to present programs, to handle core content to process in a new school year. Particularly, it also helps the teachers aware of students’ psychology, which can help their students change their behaviors and form lenient, modest, respectful habits and politeness to teachers, harmony with friends and promote their creativity, positive mind to give them more confidence to develop both student’s personality and intelligence.



The workshop was well finished in happiness and satisfaction of the whole class teachers and professional managers. The representatives of the Board of Management gave best regards to the teachers who had shared their own experiences which are precious lessons for each teacher to accumulate more skills and knowledge themselves. After this workshop, the class teachers wrote essays about all things they had accumulated and withdrawn more experiences to overcome problems in the new school year, to finish their roles well and to contribute to the school educational achievement in order to raise to a new level.
