The Fancy Dress Festival with the theme “All for the Peace World” is one of the most traditional festivals in IPS to welcome a peaceful and happy new year. The festival took place from January 19th 2016 to January 25th 2016 on the playgrounds of 5 IPS campuses with 80 fashion shows and dance performances about the different cultures around the world, which brings a meaningful message: Let’s protect and create a peaceful world together.
The Fancy Dress Festival is not only a festival where students develop their talents but also an occasion when students discover Vietnamese and other countries’ customs and cultural traditions.
A lot of exciting dances featuring the national culture of many countries were brought to the stage such as Vietnamese Cham – Kho-me dance, American Hawaii dance, Chinese dance, Indian dance, Korean dance, Spanish dance, etc. Our young models also expressed adorable confidence on stage in traditional costumes of different countries of the world. In addition, many costumes which were made from recycled materials such as colored paper, plastic wire, wrapping paper, etc also brought a message to the festival to increase awareness of environmental protection and make our world a better place.
