Overseas Summer Course Scholarships 2013

In order to encourage students in academic and extra-curricular activities, The Asian International School organizes the Talent Seeking Contest to grant scholarships of the OverseasSummer Course Scholarships 2013.

The Overseas Summer Course Scholarships 2013 are worth a total of $32,307 (equivalent to 677.1 million VND), including:

- 02 scholarships of a 4-week EF summer course in Santa Barbara - the USA sponsored by The Asian International School and 01 scholarship of a 4-week EF summer course in Santa Barbara - the USA sponsored by EF Education First - each scholarship is worth $5,519 (equivalent to 115.7 million VND) - for AHS students;

- 05 scholarships of a 2-week EF summer course in Singapore sponsored by The Asian International School and 01 scholarship of a 2-week EF summer course in Singapore sponsored by EF Education First - each scholarship is worth $2,625 (equivalent to 55 million VND) - for IPS students.

All students from grade 1 to grade 10 can participate in the Talent Seeking Contest for the Overseas Summer Course Scholarships 2013 by filling out the application form (attached), then submitting it to the class teacher no later than 5:00 pm on May 05th 2013.

Note:

  1. The scholarship is valid only if the successful student enrolls in the school year 2013- 2014 at the Asian International School. If the student transfers at any time during the school year 2013-2014, the parent/guardian will have to repay the scholarship in full.
  2. The above scholarships cover the fees of learning, housing, meals, travel, and prescribed by EF. The scholarship does not include the fees for document translation, passport and visa application, outside program tours, personal expenses and other arising costs if any.
  3. The scholarships are not transferable in any way and cannot be converted into cash.
  4. The scholarships are not applicable for students who were granted the Overseas Summer Course Scholarships 2012.
  5. 5. EF Education First is responsible for organizing the summer courses for the Overseas Summer Course Scholarships 2013 mentioned above. The successful students have to comply with the regulations of the EF Summer Study Abroad Program.
